WHAT: Operation Overpass: Undefeated Against Tyranny is a coordinated freeway overpass banner demonstration spanning multiple East Coast states. Inspired by the spirit of American independence and utilizing a visual protest technique taught by the Backbone Campaign, this action responds to the increasing authoritarian overreach of the Executive Branch of the U.S. Government. WHEN: Sunday, July 6, 2025 / Starting at 1PM WHERE: Overpass along I-85 (Northbound) and GA Hwy 211 (Exit 126) in Braselton, GA. Braselton, GA - As part of a regional day of action, 50501NorthGA will participate in Operation Overpass: Undefeated Against Tyranny to: • Demand an end to unchecked executive overreach • Oppose massive cuts to federal departments that protect the well-being of all Americans • Stand against attacks on constitutional rights and civil liberties • Defend U.S. institutions and hold leaders accountable for harmful, authoritarian policies Supporters and members of the media in City, State are invited to join us and witness this powerful visual demonstration of public resistance.
