Ridglan Farms—the Dane County beagle-breeding facility long criticized for cruelty—will be forced to surrender its license by July 1 2026, ending dog sales to labs in exchange for no charges. They will still be allowed to breed for internal tests. Not good enough. #UnlockTheLabs

31 years ago ADI’s Operation Release saved six beagle puppies from notorious Interfauna (now Marshall BioResources Acres). In 1994, 9K experiments were performed on beagles in UK labs. Last year, 2,646 procedures were performed on 1,651 dogs. There is still much to do.
