Thanks so much to everyone who participated, I can't believe how much of a success this was! We found a total of 121 pairs, or 242 shinies. I'm going to update the stats page soon so we can see some more analytics.

I spent all weekend grinding Lugia in DAs and did over 100 of them, only to fail at finding it. So in the final hour, in order to provide a pair for my Shiny L... I went and quickly hunted a Lapras in Scarlet.
Luck wasn't on my side in the end.

Incredibly, the Unown came after just 25 encounters, making it my new shortest hunt ever!

My #UnownChallenge2025 entries! Jesus the Unown J was found after 1,226 seen on 2/8, and Jumpluff remains unnamed, as it fled after 2,855 encounters on 2/24.

Wanted to try my hand at the #unownchallenge2025 and found a shiny “C” which allowed me to hunt my favorite Pokémon, Cyndaquil!
This will be perfect for my quest to hunt Cyndaquil in every gen because this is my first shiny PLA Cyndaquil!

I caught a shiny unown M (my third one in my quest for them all) and so I decided to pick back up my hunt for Moltres in Let's Go Eevee. (I lost my counter halfway through this hunt, so no idea the number of SRs)
Got my pair for #UnownChallenge2025! Unown “!” means a soft reset hunt and I needed Sudowoodo for a new project I’ve started on so I went for it and found it just under 10k! Very huge and epic
#UnownChallenge2025 unown decided I would not get it until I was about to go to bed, but it was a normal encounter for unown and the haunter was a mmo.
