Water flows across rock as it finds its way through Watkins Glen state park. The irony of this photo? Man’s touch is everywhere in our formally-wild world, including here. Look close enough and you’ll find an energy drink can lying in the rock. Why can’t we respect and enjoy nature? What makes someone so self-absorbed that they think spoiling her is acceptable? Who can’t take an hour long hike without leaving their trash on the trail?
