Last night in São Paulo: a surreal half Moon traced a low arc over the city — so close it felt touchable. Captured the moment, and the photos? Otherworldly. 🌕📸

Night sky picture, light pollution makes the sky orange gray and some wispy clouds yellow. A construction crane can be seen and above it are Alpha Centauri, to the left and Hadar directly above. Further up, partially obscured by the clouds, is the Southern Cross. This shot was made possible by the burnt out street light in the right corner of the image. For reference, the light is painted black but is bright orange in the image thanks to all the light pollution.

I can see Alpha Centauri and Hadar further up I can see the Southern Cross.

I got the alert this morning so I decided to catch the comet 12P/Pons-Brook with my @Unistellar Odyssey. I am definitely not in a dark sky area but the comet and its tail are beautiful even in 2-min exposure . #urbanastronomy
