CORTEX2 showcases XR innovation at VR Days with DG DIGIT - CORTEX2 In June 2025, the CORTEX2 team was invited by the EU Directorate-General for Digital Services (DG DIGIT) to participate in VR Days.

CORTEX2 joined #VRDays in Brussels & Luxembourg, invited by the EU’s DG DIGIT to share how XR can transform remote collaboration.

We presented our pilot on #IndustrialRemoteCooperation — an XR solution for industrial support using off-the-shelf devices + smart bandwidth use.

It seems that I am featured on the virtual reality #VRdays conference this weekend. Although I’m enjoying the conference as a spectator and guide for the Cambridge AR/VR Society #CamVAR it’s nice to get the recognition. #vredu #vreducation #VR

Waking up feeling refreshed after #VRDays #ImmersiveTechWeek - it’s been years since attended an industry specific event and whilst some of the talks and demos felt like a 2019-rehash, getting to meet, chat with and try out devs and friends (old & new) content was super fun. MOAR

Last meeting done, #VRDays #ImmersiveTechWeek done. Time for a beer for the road. Hopefully by next year the de Doelan bar staff would have learned how to pour a decent one 😅
