Because of legal complications, it was not cleared for telecast in the USA until 1962. It was released on DVD in 2013 by TCM as part of the Universal Collection, and again in 2014 as part of Universal's Film Noir Movie Spotlight Collection. #TheBlueDahlia #FilmNoirClub #ValentineNoir
Chandler got two chauffeured cars, one to convey the completed pages to the studio and the other for his wife. He turned the script in on time. Many believe the drunkenness was simply a ruse to wrangle extraordinary privileges from the desperate studio. #TheBlueDahlia #FilmNoirClub #ValentineNoir
