Another thing you can't see in this picture, but it's there: the Appalachian Trail runs along the ridge of the Green Mountains.

You can't see him, but there's a beautiful bobcat in the treeline in this picture. It ran across the road in front of me, right on the edge of the village, and only a couple of blocks from where I saw a bobcat kitten sleeping in a tree (on Main street!) a couple years ago.
