After a 30min 🚴♂️ climb out of the lake vacinity, I was blown away by the descent 😳 Dropping a kilometre in elevation ⛰️ One can now tell I'm getting closer to the #Santander suburbs 🏘️ Still on a #ViaVerde but tar or concrete now! And people 😳 #bicycle #cycle #spain 🇪🇸
Arrived at what may be unofficially the end (or start) of the northern #ViaVerde! There is a 'live' Renfe line next to it. So I believe, the end is a siding, and the original line 🛤️ is still running 👍🏻 A nice wildcamping spot found near the railway 🚅 #bicycle #cycle #spain 🇪🇸

Tent 🏕️ drying is the first stop when the sun is up 🌅 & has some potency. Makes for the ideal sweet black coffee ☕ and porridge 🍚 stop too. A lot of this unmarked #ViaVerde has recently been worked on 🏗️ Hell of a route once all connected #greenway Santander to Valencia 🇪🇸
Villages 🏘️ generally have ample water. #ViaVerde I still running but bridges 🌉 yet to be completed. Not so hard to find a little detour, though. Best #wildcamping 🏕️ I find is right next to the trail. Real peace 👍🏻 And mostly no barking 🐕 🐶 🐕 🐶 ! #bicycle #cycle #spain 🇪🇸
