Outrun. Hightailing it along various world famous tracks or places in a timed raceagainst the clock. The original ROMS are available for the free MAME emulator. Without a wheel controller you may want to try a modern version "Outrun 2"

This baby is called PacMan, and an offshoot was MsPacman, PacMania (a 3d version) and PacLand, an annoying side-scroller. Always fun to go to an arcade and find an existing still working PacMan machine !

This is "StreetFighter" the original, if that is you can pull yourself away from Mortal Kombat for long enough, this is the game that featured ChunLi, (the kick animation I recently uploaded.)

Aside from 'Pong' this is the title that got people pumping coin... SPACE INVADERS, perhaps boring to look at today but still an addictive challenge. Don't be believe me? that's easy? try it !

During the 1990's, I basically lived... here ! You don't get so many arcades now, but if you look someone good ones can often be found. In an age of game consoles, its less about relentlessly pumping coin.
