2000 Amarone Classico Pasqua 15%, deep bordeaux coulored rim, smells of dark berries, dry tomatoes and juniper, a powerful yet not podgy wine.

Red wine is, for us old boys,
the best of all God's joys.
This German proverb has some justification even if there is enough virility left to be able to still appriciate other joys. And if it happens to be a wine that has matured with honor, it fits perfectly.
