mafia 2 comic ft. vito scaletta, joe barbaro, and my oc francisco. vito and joe are at a coffee stand in the snow. j: hey vito, we been pals a while, right? v: only since diapers, sure. j: and y'know, pals like us, we tell each other things. v: should i be getting nervous? j: feelings. secrets. all that crap. v: oh, ok. well now i'm really worried. j: well, i wanna ask you somethin's and you gotta promise not to throw a fit. v: what, you want a pinky promise? j: wouldja? v: just get on with it, joe. j: ok, well, i warned ya. right as vito sips his coffee, joe asks him: you gay? and he spits it right out.
vito is in disbelief while joe muses about his sexuality. v: WHAT. j: ah, geez, here we go. v: why- what kinda- j: i was just thinkin'- y'never went steady with any girls in high school, and youse the quiet type. that's kinda half the signs for a queer. v: we've been to the CATHOUSE together, joe! j: well sure, but you could also be shakin' hands with fellas on the side. who knows? people can do that. i heard 'bout it on the radio. vito turns to storm off. v: gettin' your wisdom from the radio, now i know you've gone daffy. forget this. i'll see you at home. j: aw, come on, vito! you're not actually sore, are ya? I was just bustin' your balls a little. v: not THAT- i gotta see sunny about a job, anyway.
joe calls out to vito as he storms off: that fella ain't helping your case, you know! cut to vito driving with a pensive frown, holding a cigarette. cut to vito standing and holding a bag, smoking. v: hey, roro- f: yeah? v: this uh... this thing. that make me a queer?
francisco walks up to vito and takes the bag from him, looking smug. f: depends- d'ya want to get in my pants before or after you knew what was in 'em? vito starts: well i- he stops and thinks harder, face flushed. cuts to him back in his car at night, eyes wide with the realization.
