One side of an ASUS router's mainboard with heat sink removed. Gaps in metal coverings where what are presumably processors are exposed have heat pads on the heat sink. Both heat pads, both chips, and the foam areas around said chips are all wet with some sort of fluid.
Why would these thermal pads be... wet
this does not seem right. is this a breakdown mode of some thermal pads? Or is it something else entirely, or even by design?
