Tony Evers has approved a $6.1 million contract to improve a major stretch of westbound WIS 29 in Marathon County, with construction set to begin Wednesday, June 4. The project spans the westbound lanes between the Clark County line and County Highway E South, located between Abbotsford and Wausau. Chippewa Concrete Services, Inc. will serve as the prime contractor.
