On #WSPD2019 we can’t ignore attitudes to those presenting in ED with #selfharm. In the past I’ve been denied anaesthetic & my dignity ignored. Many ppl face untold judgement. Services are stretched but #dignity #respect #compassion costs nothing #enoughshame. We must do more!
On #WSPD2019 we must reflect on services. 8 yrs of the same discharge care plans despite self harm/suicide attempts worsening. Drowning in risk assessments, drowning in medication. I was no longer me, just symptoms. @geraldi75874879 @donnelly_oscar @lynnwoolsey1 #safetyplanning
