I had a similar game meets real life experience, a local farm store has an old covered wagon that “was just sitting in someone’s barn for years” #WagonAge
Character editor screen with a Victorian gentleman standing in a mirror with a newspaper open showing advertising styled game setting choices for body types, skin color, and character height.
Game screen with an 1800s desk covered in old newspapers and tools, with choices for: Dissin' Terry, Horsing Around, Climb and Punishment, and options. Which adventure would you like to inquire about.
More work in progress. The first of 10 character editor screens. It's slow work but I'm getting faster as I learn #Godot. The tabs at the top still need to be styled.

Affinity Designer interface screen shot. Close up of a man’s half drawn head in flat colors. He has no face, only eyebrows and dark wavy hair. A vector selection is adjusting a line of stubble along his lower jaw.
Learning #AffinityDesign for iPad to make character base art for my game and testing to see if a player character designer is doable. With clipping masks I can easily add textures like stubble or clothing patterns with little effort so this seems like the right workflow #WIP #WagonAge
