KK headed the expert panel that brought us the 'Advice Notes' that kickstarted many of the current problems, including #WakingWatch - without any form of impact assessment they issued strict, narrow, highly prescriptive, uncompromising and very damaging guidance.

The NFCC approach has been, thru #WakingWatch & alarms, to focus on evacuation.
It seems the new Building Safety Regulator is likely, at some point, to drop Government's approach completely, in favour of one similar to the NFCC. Far less costly, in the majority of blocks. End

The NFCC / Expert Panel decision to enforce #WakingWatch patrols and not enforce fire detection and alarm systems, will cost leaseholders hundreds of millions of pounds.
It needs explaining, there has to be accountability. It was a foolish decision without any merit or logic.
