On Saturday, I joined Kingston's #WalktoEndALS, which saw a record turnout. I spoke in honour of former MP Mauril Bélanger, who led the change to O Canada’s lyrics before his ALS diagnosis in 2015. Grateful to everyone who made the event possible!

For our @ALSCanada #WalkToEndALS Ryan and I ignored the rain showers and walked to the Duck Pond at St Vital Park, where Leslie and I had our first date some four decades ago.

Thanks to everyone who donated to our fundraising campaign to help end this disease. 💜

June is #ALS Awareness Month in 🇨🇦. Fittingly, we placed a new stone marker in Leslie’s rose garden this evening. Roses were her favourite.

Unfortunately ALS remains a disease that is 100% fatal and there are few treatments. The #WalkToEndALS is June 26. Please give generously.

Sunday, June 26 is #WalkToEndALS day for 2022 and my family will be honouring Leslie, who passed away from ALS in May 2020. Funds raised go to #ALS research and my sons and I would be grateful for any contributions to @ALSCanada to find a cure. 💜
