The federal public service has grown by over 40% under the Trudeau government.
PM Carney hasn't cut anything, but he has frozen some resources for the moment or put the brakes on NEW services.
Considering global politics and its focus, it's reasonable.

In normal times. I'd most likely agree.
I am looking at everything now through a #WartimeMeasures lens and giving the benefit of the doubt and some space for our current government.
