The governor's staff responded to my letter about changing the WA state flag and name. They did not give me a real response. They sent a generic message with a packet for children.
I'm going to learn about making petitions! I'll need a lot of help!

My dad found me an article today. I read it and learned that Washington had 150 slaves!!!
He also moved his slaves around to prevent them from being freed when they should have been. His wife helped! They tried to give people away as presents!
We shouldn't celebrate him!
