One of seven ogham stones from the medieval Knockboy/Seskinan Church in the Sliabh gCua region of County Waterford. This stone is high up in the Gable Wall, Upper Window Lintel. One of my favourite medieval churches. #Ogham #Waterfordhistory

The Lismore Crozier
I had a great chat with Gemma Delaney #WLRFM
this week about a mystery hidden behind an old blocked up doorway in #Lismore Castle and only discovered during renovations in the 19th century. Known as the Lismore Crozier it dates to 1100AD. #Waterfordhistory
