“When you said “Hey, want a slice of Gecko Cake?” I thought that it was a cake shaped like one, or even a cake with icing to resemble one. Not an actual gecko!”. From seeing her new friend freaking out over food she enjoys, Myst could barely hold in a snicker which Skyler hears and quickly snaps towards her making the Vacuan raised teen shut up quickly. “Sorry, Skyler.” Myst replied, “Seeing people react to how different our food is to what they have for the first time is always hilarious. And yours was perfect!” Saying the last part with a slight smile. Said smile made Skyler also smile, even snicker too, agreeing that her reaction would have been perfect to see. - From the fanfic Alright I’m Out.
“I mean I would but errrrrr” Myst nervously responded as she continued to slowly back up as the tomboy edged closer before an idea came to mind. “Oh! I just realised. I have a dentist appointment! Yeah, a dentist appointment with my…cat?” the young Turquentine explained. It didn’t take her long to realise the reason was not going to work and with pure panic turned and ran towards the city as fast as she could. Skyler was quick to react as she chased her friend back to the city, holding her skateboard over her head. “MYST GET BACK HERE!” could be heard as Skyler was more than happy to try her Semblance out again, with or without Myst. - From the Vacuo Short Stories ‘First Time for Everything.’
