We fought hard to maintain a REAL cap on term appointments. It’s now 8% of the bargaining unit with the only exceptions being for dual career hires and coverage of leaves of absence longer than 12 weeks.

Early career LACs can go up for promotion sooner. We fought for and won a tiered approach to time-in-rank eligibility: 3 years at assistant, 4 at associate, and 5 at senior associate.
