This is not a problem with the vaccine.
This is not unique to S. aureus.
This is a flaw of human immunity.
Many viruses can induce an overabundance of Interleukin-10 (IL-10) in B cells, leading to the inactivation of antibodies, and rendering them unable to neutralize the virus. #WeAreNotBats
