Datsun described the styling of its quite radical front-wheel-drive 100A saloon (alternatively known as the Cherry) as 'breaking away from the basic box'. The upwardly curving rear side windows and rear creases were certainly very distinctive features. This is a 1972 brochure. #weirdcarbs

I think I saw someone driving a Honda Street Wagovan or something on the road the other day, which was a totally wtf moment because it looked out-of-scale with every car around it #weirdcarbs
Peugeot had a tradition of offering coupé and cabriolet versions of its mainstream models, and the 304 got this treatment, with the models featuring a shortened chassis. By the date of this 1975 Dutch brochure they used the uprated 1288cc 80bhp engine, shared with the S saloon. #weirdcarbs

Picture shows the new AEM X-series controller fitted to the nearside inner wing of the Triumph - and a large bundle of coiled wire ready for shortening when a new 4-pin Econoseal connector arrives; the one I ordered helpfully having been supplied with a missing pin making using it pointless... 🙄
After pulling the dead Innovate LC-1 wideband HEGO controller from the #Triumph Mk2 PI last weekend, I wired in it's replacement: an AEM X-series unit.
It's not the neatest of jobs as its only fitted temporarily - but it's in and working and #rustival ready 👍😊

I love these pre-production C4 Corvette ZR-1s. The 8,000rpm digital tacho is just so cool.
