This drawing has 6 panes. The first shows the scientist, Dr. Wade examining his new invention, the Flattener. The 2nd pane is his first subject, Brian O'Toole. The 3rd pane shows the Flattener in action. The fourth pane shows Brian O'Toole now a flat cardboard cutout of himself. Brian's right eye is raised as if in disbelief of what is happening to him. The 5th pane shows the cardboard Brian falling over as two of his associates, Steve and Mike, watch. The 6th pane shows Dr. Wade brandishing the Flattener, inspired by his successful transformation.

This drawing has 5 sections. The first is Mike, his arms throw out in front of him as if to ward off some danger. There's a ZAP sound and he is now flattened into a front/back poster of himself. The largest of the 4 policemen, Lucas, launches himself into the air, trying to get to Dr. Wade. There's a ZAP sound and a flat disc falls to the floor, the top of which shows the top of the head of the large policeman, he's been flattened into a "top of head/soles of feet" poster.

The final drawing has two panes. The first pane shows a triumphant Dr. Wade reveling in his success as the flat top/bottom disc of the last policeman rolls on the floor. The second shows Dr. Wade carrying the flattened posters of the four policemen under his left arm as he exits the building. He's waving and smiling secure in the knowledge his experiment is a success and no one will stop him.
