Two mergansers swim past in front of a fishing boat docked at Westport Point. The nearer duck is an immature male Hooded Merganser with a black bill. The feathers on the front of his head are transitioning to black. The farther duck is a (likely) a female Red-breasted Merganser who has just emerged from a dive and has water dripping off her bill.
