This is lovely. #WhatTheFutureOfGenderLooksLike 💚
Take away my pronouns, my passport, my prison cell, my hormones, & my bathroom, I'm still trans. I'm still here. I'm not going anywhere. And tomorrow there will be more like me. I'm not scared, I'm fighting mad. You can't have my life. It's mine. Because we are #WhatTheFutureOfGenderLooksLike

Yes it's beyond heinous watching R's beat up on trans kids & D's run and hide. But...look where we are. Until @10 yrs after Spack 1st ped clinic opened in 2007 virtually NO kids got care. Sometimes horrific backlashes are what slow progress looks like. We are #WhatTheFutureOfGenderLooksLike
I realize it's cold comfort but I always look at what R's DON'T do. This is a backhanded acknowledgement of how firmly trans ppl and adult care are now firmly embedded in American life. When I transitioned in 1978 neither was at all the case. We are #WhatTheFutureOFGenderLooksLike
