๐ Grey shrikethrush (Colluricincla harmonica) The grey shrikethrush, or grey shrike-thrush, is a songbird found across much of Australia and New Guinea, particularly in woodlands and forests. A medium-sized, mostly grey bird, it is best known for its varied and melodious songs. This territorial bird actively hunts insects and small vertebrates, often perching prominently before swooping down on prey.
