๐ White-crowned wheatear (Oenanthe leucopyga) The White-crowned wheatear or White-crowned black wheatear is a relatively large, predominantly black Old World flycatcher with a striking white rump, tail, and crown (in adults). It inhabits stony deserts across North Africa and the Middle East, where it nests in rock crevices.
