Big wind turbines in big installations on land, high ground, must become a massive US priority & built as rapidly as possible. It needs to be built for (primarily for consumer controlled demand such as) overnight home demand, eg

DC requires #DCstatehood to free DC to invest in Virginia renewable energy.
#SolarCool is required to power all electric cooling to sunset temperatures & even with down to dry 72f after dark, & then even dry 72f all day.
#WindHeat is required to heat DC & DC region without fossil fuels.
#WindHeat business model needs to happen now. Overnight peak wind power, usually unsellable, & during coldest nights, needs to be sold as electric heat at lower prices than grid electricity by matching fossil fuels used by that specific household.
Any subsidy would go in state to Maine turbines.
Any heat that is needed in Hawaii overnight (yes, snow is up of the mountain tops, but few in Hawaii are cold) should be #WindHeat, priced like fossil fuels. While swimming pools are better solar heated,
hot tubs & saunas are evening activities which could be preheated by day time & evening wind.
