De boom staat op een driehoekig grasveldje. Daarachter loopt een weg en daarachter ligt weer een grasveld. De lucht is strakblauw. Aan de horizon heel in de verte is een rij bomen te zien.

Rustig winterlandschap tijdens zonsopkomst. Op de voorgrond staat een grote kale boom met fijne, vertakte takken, omringd door rijp bedekte grassprieten. Rechts slingert een smal, donker asfaltpad door het licht bevroren landschap richting de horizon. In de verte staat een traditionele houten windmolen langs een watergang, deels gehuld in ochtendmist. De lucht kleurt zacht pastelroze en lichtblauw, wat zorgt voor een serene en stille sfeer.

Middag hier koud en zonnig ,lekker kerstontbijt geweest.
