There's some irony in my clearly liking this revue-style version on release, without (IIRC) being aware of whose song was being covered. The #SpencerDavis Group original, a UK No.2 in 1966, was co-written by Steve #Winwood ... and by the end of 1981, I had bought his exquisite LP “Arc of a Diver”.
