On 28 July 1865, the ship Mimosa arrived in #Patagonia with some 153 passengers to found a “new #Wales” - Y #Wladfa.
#YWladfa was soon used by #Argentina to assert control of the area, & only now, 160 years later, are the #Indigenous #Tehuelche voices being heard.
