One of the biggest and most impactful moments in the S3 finale were, Imo, a direct result of Siuan's final act of defiance.
It caused Moiraine's vision of *death* to have a changed (like Elaida told Min earlier) outcome. She didn't give in & gained the will, from grief, to fight back

Lan slicing Lanfear should never have happened. The way the average channeler struggles to hold their own against people with swords blows my mind. Especially in light of what we watch Liandrin do time after time.

i think it doesn't have the same weight either. she's the most powerful woman in the world, loses everything, decides she will live and continues to be relevant. Leane follows her because of that.

E7 didn’t work for me that well. That could have been solved by a scene with Dain, Fain, Luc, and Valda in the WC camp and then BEATING the remaining army instead of weakening Lioal’s sacrifice… OR, 10 episodes, 2 for the Two Rivs w/ Luc & wolf dream + Faile’s ride…

I agree 100% with this Show Only viewer’s review. PLOT TWIST: He liked it!

I think there is a (long) missing scene in the White Cloaks Camp between Valda, Fain, and Dain that might have fixed what was missing.
