#BrilliantMinds 209 was maybe the best episode of the series yet. No #WolfNichols which makes me sad. But the overall arc and Eric Dane as amazing guest star with a heartbreaking story (which partly mirrors RL) was everything!

My opinion to Brilliant Minds 203: Okay, I've seen the episode. And I'm annoyed! I know that a whole series can't just be about WolfNichols but we got basically only one full scene with the two and that was the last one with the menacing "We need to talk!". And I'm sure he wants to speak "job" and not "private". Except maybe for "we put everything on hold as long as I'm your boss". Do you think he's only temporary the new chief? I mean... I'm happy for him because that is a huge step up the career ladder. And he has the right temperament for it because most of it is juggling the budget and fight with the board. Maybe he'll miss being a surgeon and in the end goes back to only being that? Hm... Liked that Dana got some screen time. Even if her relationship seems pretty unbalanced. Why can't she just have good things? What do we think about her reporting Carol? - My guess: After her sister died and she had her anxiety attacks she got a therapist who then betrayed er trust or even abused her. I bet she saw parts of that dynamic mirrored in Carol's case. And because she has been on the other side of it as the victim she reported it so it could be examined further. But Carol gave her kind of a redemption so that the viewers wouldn't hate her. I really liked the case. It showed how Wolf works and how dedicated he is when it comes to his patients. I loved Ericka's rant about the double standards - especially when you compare Wolf's behaviour and Carol's. Plus the race factor as well. Also liked Wolf's reaction to it because "they were on the same page". Also... her behaviour starts to get more erratic because of the pills. You can see it now. Because season 1 only had 13 episodes the whole WolfNichols relationship needed to develop quickly. That's why we are spoiled now and expect the same speed from season 2. But because season 2 has 20 episodes they changed down and we get all the slow burn in the world. It drives me crazy!

Nichols passes Wolf in the hall of the hospital. He just comes from the Hamptons and wears casual clothes, a light blue linnen shirt and a teint. Wolf wears his work clothes with white lab coat.
My opinion about BM 201 in long: Yes, yes and yes! Really not enough WolfNichols. I like that they solved the whole Wolf ghosted Josh after the Gala thing off screen. Maybe we'll get a flashback sometime. I can't imagine they leave it out completely. I also liked Josh's reaction when he said that he understands Wolf and accepts him and how he reacts. When he said it he had for 3 seconds such a fond look on his face (or maybe I imagined it). It was crystal clear that he's in love and doesn't wanna give up (role reverdal bc this season he is the one to convince Wolf). But I also get his perspective becaue he's hanging in thin air without seeing a forward or a back. Yes, 6 weeks is not really long. But long enough when you're waiting for any sign at all. When he left and knocked against the door frame it was like he actually wanted to pat Wolf on the back. But because he couldn't he knocked against the frame as a goodbye. Not enough WolfNichols but at least a Hampton glow up! I love Josh in this light blue linnen shirt with the new hair and the teint. And also protective!Nichols. YESSSS!!!!!! Nobody threatens his man! Bonus point for the dark blue zip sweater because Josh just really looks good in any kind of blue. The end of this episode was basically a mirror to the end of the last episode and final of season 1. Last episode Josh was the one that got left behind. Now it's Wolf. And honestly... how much more trauma can he endure. It's basically the same trauma but still... Right now (without knowing what the letter says) I'm f*** annoyed with Noah. Really, really annoyed. And you know what? I'm even more annoyed that he left his dirty mugs everywhere. That sis such a selfish! asshole move! We know the new intern has a secret. He might not be a mole for Wolf's mother but maybe he's spying for someone. I don't think he will be the one that commits Wolf. etc.
In short: Nice start. Not enough #WolfNichols. Nice Hampton glow up for Josh. And YES! Protective!Josh FTW!
Love Carol, love that Dana's relationship. Like Dr. Thorne and would totally ship him with Carol. New intern is an arrogant ass. The end was heartbreaking.

I'm slightly depressed for Josh because "all Wolf is feeling goes into his work" - has he given up on a deep relationship? Will work always be more important than Josh?
