Magipie Lord by KJ Charles Pretty much the only "romance" series I enjoy, as it's super no nonsense, full of action, amazing banter and the well written steamy (m/m) romantic part is utterly integral to the story. Absolutely addictive tone and voice.

Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse slightly antisocial female Navajo monster hunter, dystopian with an urban fantasy feel

Gates of Hope by JE Hannaford Epic fantasy, cool and inspired world building, great flora and fauna, moon hounds!

Keeper Origins by JA Andrews Epic fantasy, classic feel, but modern style, amazing characters, addictive!
