Wisteria at the front of our house. Just starting to bloom. Ma's been watching the buds develop from the upstairs windows. For the first year ever, there are more flower buds than leaf buds!

Wisteria at the front of our house. Just starting to bloom. Ma's been watching the buds develop from the upstairs windows. For the first year ever, there are more flower buds than leaf buds! Underneath is an overgrown ceanothus (California Lilac), just bursting i to blooms with its blue flowers. The bees are loving it!

A photo of the #NeighbourWood, opposite my house. Bluebells are blooming across the woodland floor... in the distance, they're filling out and their blueness looks a little like a pond - or maybe even a lake. I hope we haven't reached the peak yet but, as they were so early this year, they may only last another week or so (this is week 3 and they usually only last a month). I'll report back next Friday. I hope you're enjoying their development!

'Tis me, #SiggySchnauzer, a grey and white (actually called "Pepper and Salt") small dog with a beard and amazing eyebrows (or so I'm told 😆) posing on the boardwalk in the #NeighbourWood opposite home. 'Tis me, #SiggySchnauzer, posing on a tree stump in a bluebell wood near to home. I'm staring off to the right of the photo - wonder what caught my eye? I'm wearing a green-trimmed black harness which I don't wear any more 'cos it made me blimmin' hot! I'm much cooler in my Makuti harness... aka bra... and it's a great fit as it has adjustable straps front and rear, around the chest and neck areas.
