It’s a meerkat baby boom - just in time for #WorldMeerkatDay! Four litters of kits have joined our meerkat mob. Moms Keeya and Naledi have been busy raising 15 tiny explorers, and even the youngest kits are popping out of burrows, practicing their guard stance, and mimicking their older siblings.

ミーアキャットは、乾燥したサバンナや岩場で群れを作って生きるかわいらしい小動物です。
ユニークな行動で動物園でも人気者ですが、その生態や狭められている生息地などの現状を知ろうという日です。
