Yesterday was #WorldSeniorCitizensDay! AWI is recognizing the special role companion animals can play in older adults’ quality of life, and the unfortunate relationship between animal abuse and elder abuse.
On #WorldSeniorCitizensDay, we honor the wisdom and resilience of elderly women, including LBQ women whose stories are often left untold. Their courage has paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy today, and their experiences remind us why advocacy, visibility, and care matter.
