#WritingPropmpt CERN's first particle collisions on 11-23-09 didn't impact the vast majority of people. But for one in 100,000, it was they day they appeared in a world nearly identical to ours, with with 1/1000th of 1% of the world's population of living creatures.
And some from OTHER worlds...

	“And …”
Something about the hesitance in his tone made me turn my head to look at him so fast that it made me wince.
“… you were right not to trust the constables last night.”
To this day, I don’t know how I didn’t fall over when I heard that. He had never told me I was right when he’d been wrong before. Then again, he’d never had a reason to.
He took a deep breath, and glanced away from me. “I’m embarrassed that I didn’t see the same signs you did. I’m embarrassed that I had to be rescued by my own squire. But I’m lucky that squire was you, and I appreciate everything you did.”
No part of me felt like gloating, or doing anything but going back to sleep, but his words warmed me up in the coldest place in my chest like nothing else could have. I didn’t know what was proper to say, or even what made sense, so I just said, “You’re welcome, sir.” And then, without really meaning to, “I’m lucky to be your squire.” Which was at least technically true.
He looked back at me, and gave me a weird little smile that I’d never seen before.
I later realized I had never thanked him for giving me a job until then, and that it probably wasn’t why he smiled at me like that.

It was Seff's quick thinking and quick action that saved their asses last night - and not Drohim's trusting the system.

#WIPSnips The boys look odd—too shiny, too combed. Most days, their hair sticks out in twelve directions. They are ironed, tucked in, and creased. Maggie and Bunny wear polished Mary Janes, oxblood for Maggie and chocolate-brown for Bunny; not the patent leather saved for church. #Writingpropmpt

"What have you there, Cherie?"

#Petulant, the girl turned her face away while arranging lower limbs like a lewd woman.

When his gaze dropped, she plucked a double. Dangling the heat basted fruit behind her, she thought, 'You can't take everything.'
