really good question for #XIV_Cierzo bc his life is abt not having the ability to open jars with his bare hands and using a knife + smart application of force to release the vacuum seal in the jar and loosen it up (not having raw strength or talent but making up for it with tools and smarts)

#XIV_Cierzo was a kid with an aether manipulation disability in a village of mages. he journeyed afar to find something about himself to be proud of, met his hero, the future warrior of light, and then...was transported to norvrandt, stranded for seven years.

Cierzo, the successor of the Warrior of Light, sits on a throne of carved, cracked, white stone. the light and backdrop, of a bright sky of every color of the day, give off the impression of him sitting at a high place. his expression is difficult to read, but his posture is a relaxed slouch, as if bored.

i have created a tierlist showing how well #XIV_Cierzo would be able to learn and fight in each job. as u can see he has a hard time af with magic, and the bard and dancer placements might also vary because theyre very party buff-centric, which might also be an application of aether

#XIV_Tianlang is PLD/WHM/DRG, and those are his only jobs. I think out of my ocs he's the only one who can actually be an all-rounder. even #XIV_Cierzo lacks the ability to heal since it needs magic

for his archery, because his right eye is dominant.
for gunbreaker and reaper arts, because cassio, his avatar, synchronizes with his left hand, and he needs his assistance to manipulate aether.

cierzo's most prominent themes are probably weakness vs strength and the burden of expectation... i dont tend to write characters such that they're about many different things, but rather are about a few things in particular that encompass all sorts of things about them

#XIV_Cierzo - cierzo can't manipulate aether very well, so his cartridge charges is actually his avatar partner, cassio, drawing aether from the target and charging cierzo's carts for him. this means that cierzo can't use cart techniques without cassio's cooperation tho lol

by default, cierzo does not. he has a friendly neighborhood miqo'te guy vibe about him 99% of the time anyone who isn't an enemy is around to see him
the only time he has any significant presence is, rarely, when he's in combat, but he's still mostly been a stealth guy until recently

i like to imagine tho that after attuning to his avatar he's also capable of expressions like these in combat, especially when very focused. if you see him making this face in combat he's probably thinking solely about the flow of battle and how to end the fight quickest in his favor
