The Half Night of Prayer is on this Friday, June 6th, from 7pm to 11pm at St Thomas' Church, Lancaster, we will be praying for growth and renewal across our diocese.

Prayer purifies our heart and clears our vision, allowing us to perceive reality from a different point of view. #YearOfPrayer

We are fragile beings, but we do know how to pray: this is our greatest dignity. And when a prayer is said according to Jesus’ heart, it obtains miracles. #YearOfPrayer

Prayer is the soul of hope. #YearOfPrayer

Prayer opens our hearts to the Lord, and the Holy Spirit changes our lives when He enters. We should therefore pray, so that our hearts are opened to make space for the Spirit. #YearOfPrayer
