Funny thing: After being told time and again that "Earwig and the Witch" was not a good film and I probably would not like it, I have to say...I really enjoyed it! I love that Goro Miyazaki experimented with the formula and put out a good product! #YearOfGhibli
Bottom 5 is "Tales from EarthSea", "Ocean Waves", "The Wind Rises", "Porco Rosso" and "Only Yesterday".
Don't get me wrong, these movies are OKAY, but when compared to the others, they just didn't do anything for me.
"EarthSea" just Sucked. No two ways about it. #YearOfGhibli
Riding the top of the list comfortably is "My Neighbor Totoro" with "Ponyo" "The Cat Returns", "Arrietty" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" following close behind.
I think it'll be this way for a LONG time with the top 5 films. They are quintessential Ghibli films. #YearOfGhibli
