Starmie was a pokemon I was obsessed with drawing when I was a child. Pokemon as a whole guided me towards learning how to draw, but Starmie is what kept me drawing when I was 6. It's probably one of my earliest hyperfixations.
Vileplume is a pokemon that I generally feel like is very unloved by today's standards. It's unique shape compared to other monsters of the first generation is so simple. It was also the pokemon that helped me humble my older brother when I was 7. Nothing quite cemented my love for Vileplume when it made my Charizard-worshiping older brother cry with Sleep Powder, I was several iterations of myself immature...But you'd have to be me in order to know how bad my brother deserved it. Rest assured; justice was won that day. Thanks to this short king and or queen.
Golem is probably the most sentimental of all pokemon to me over memories when I played Gold and Silver with my cousin at the time. Unfortunately, he died a week before Sapphire and Ruby were released. The Graveler he traded me was the last pokemon he ever gave me, and thus Golem became immensely important to me. I love Golem as a mon itself, but it also holds good memories inside of it, for me.
