We have jackdaw babies at #YewView 😁❤️ live streaming on my YouTube channel 😁
Whilst at #YewView this week, I was able to zoom in on Noctis whilst 2Aluco was up at the entrance. It’s really good to see a close-up on this new little tawny life. Being a singleton, there is plenty of food so growing so fast!

Noctis is looking good! He can hardly fit under 2Aluco now! Being fed well, eyes open and feathers starting to appear through the fluffy down! 😁❤️❤️

The ‘We’re planting a wildflower meadow’ dance 🤣
Sue and I seeded this large area with wildflower mix at #YewView in Worcestershire.
We marked out metre strips, measured & mixed the seed with sand so we could see where we had been, spread and then trod it all in. 😁
I’m at my #YewView site today and 2Aluco is sitting up in the entrance so I’ve zoomed the cam in on Noctis! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Our #YewView owlet is 5 days old and its eyes are just opening!
We’re calling it ‘Noctis’ (Latin for night) . The 2nd egg has not hatched so this Noctis will have all that food to him/herself!!!
Loads of prey stashed for our #YewView single owlet!!!! It certainly won’t go hungry 🤣 Sadly, the 2nd egg hasn’t hatched. This owlet will grow quickly with all that food available……..🐀🐭🦉❤️
Great views of our new #YewView owlet being fed a wood mouse. It’s looking strong and healthy!
Full video, with commentary, is now live on my YouTube channel. Please subscribe for all the latest updates 😁🦉🦉

Lots of smooching in the #YewView owl
platform this morning! I’m hoping we’ll see the first egg this week 🤞❤️🦉🦉❤️
After technical problems with our #YewView owl box, I finally got it working again to see TWO owls in the box… Strix and his new partner, 2Aluco. Never had two roosting in box before! Live streaming now on my website!
Lovely to see the #YewView tawny owl peeking out this morning? Is she going to breed there this year? I can access the camera from here at home in Wales 😁🦉
The #YewView tawny owl is back in the box today! You can see her on the YewView live cam on my YouTube channel 😀

The sheer audacity of grey squirrels!
Every year, at #YewView, in Worcestershire, we leave the ladder up at our tawny box so we can remove the squirrel debris to ensure a safe space for the tawnies. The new female has started roosting in the box to protect it.. 😲
Book early if you want a space at this restaurant!
Have you seen the new live camera from #YewView on my website yet? Mega busy feeders with lots of different species!
Lovely to capture this hare on the @naturespy.bsky.social Helarctos, in a woodland, not far from #YewView. Such beautiful animals and I’m rather captivated by them…….
Exciting #YewView trail cam collection, snow on the Malvern Hills, then find a badger pushed a stick in front of cam and you have a zillion clips of said twig, waving in front of cam! 😱🤷♀️🦡
Freezing temperatures, River Severn burst its banks again and swans in the garden at the #YewView site in Worcestershire today ! ❄️❄️❄️
Every month, I spend 3 or 4 days at a site in Worcestershire, called #YewView. Last week I set a Helarctos in the woods nearby…. And captured some lovely clips! Watch in 4K!

The Helarctos I placed up in the woods near #YewView captured this individual collecting leaves for bedding! I love this scoop technique! ❤️🦡🍁🍁🍁

I’m at my Worcester site today… #YewView. … fabulous badger sett nearby and I’m setting trailcams 😁🦡🦡🦡🦡
Every year, at this time, I pray that Strix & Aluco will return to breed in the #YewView box in Worcestershire. Signs are looking good. This is the male. You can hear the female on the outside. This warbling call is used when prospecting & discussing it!
