But honestly, who wouldn’t feel unfairly treated if the guy you’ve been in love with for years ends up dating your best friend? She must feel like the whole universe is against her. It’s really sad that she sees Eun Jung as this constant reminder of everything she never had or can’t get. Eun Jung also feels some rivalry with her, but her life isn’t a total mess, and she had better emotional conditions to just walk away. Sang Yeon’s obsession with San-hak also seems to come from putting him on this pedestal for “saving” her life. In the end, it’s just really sad.
