Tax hike, comprehensive enforcement important to reduce smoking habits – MCTC KUALA LUMPUR: Increasing tobacco excise tax is among the most effective measures to reduce smoking habits, in addition to comprehensive enforcement towards achieving the Endgame 2045 goal , according to the Malaysian Tobacco Control Council (MCTC).
