✊ In one month, 22 youth are heading to the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals! They’re challenging three of Trump’s pro-fossil fuel executive orders that “unleash” fossil fuels, exacerbate the climate crisis, block clean energy, and suppress climate science. #YouthvGov
The youth plaintiffs are asking the Ninth Circuit to affirm that courts have a duty to hear constitutional claims brought by children whose rights are being directly harmed by government policies. Reinstating the case would allow the youth to present evidence. #YouthvGov
