We went after the molecular mechanism, performed bulk RNAseq of IECs that can or cannot respond to IFN-III & found that repair programs were upregulated in KO IECs while ISGs were up in WT lECs that respond to IFN-III. Of note IFN-III also upregulated #GSDMCs & the Z-DNA sensor #ZBP1 6/n
